About Cleveland Dental Institute
Cleveland Dental Institute is a dentist in Akron, Ohio. It is listed at 1494 S Arlington St, Akron, OH 44306, which places it among the local businesses of Akron that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Akron, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Ohio, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12:01 amβ11:59 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Cleveland Dental Institute at (330) 773-7100; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Its Google rating stands at 3.0 out of 5 from 234 reviews, which is below average for the category; consider the recent reviews carefully before visiting.
Akron is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Akron is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Ohio's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is by far the worst dentists office I've been to. Avoid this place at all costs. I've never had a so called medical professional put a time limit on a patients questions. After going to a different dentist and seeing the contrast between a real professional and a hack I can see just how terrible this place is. I will also be contacting the state about the circus that is this place. I personally believe this place should be shut down

After being assured prior to scheduling appt they offer sedation for my special needs child, they all of a sudden donβt offer sedation upon in person consult. Dr called me the business day prior to appt & actually asked βyou actually going to show up?β! They initially took my child back without allowing us as his parents to come back with him & let my special needs child sit by himself for about 20 minutes. Dentist wasnβt discreet at all after initial consult in saying my childβs case was the worse he has ever seen. When attempting to schedule a follow up appt, the unprofessional receptionist actually hung up on me. I call back & same receptionist told me my child couldnβt be seen there. When I requested a call back from the dentist, the receptionist claimed he wouldnβt be in until the following week which is unlikely true because if the provider doesnβt work, the whole office team is also not working. I had to have my insurance provider get on the phone call with me just to schedule a follow up appt with a different receptionist whose tune was completely different.

Trying for months to get a surgery scheduled but the incompetent staff will not send the proper codes to my insurance so it can be billed properly. Front desk is rude and doesn't seem to know how to send something to insurance the correct way. I've been waiting in pain because I need a wisdom tooth extracted. Now I have to find another place because these people absolutely refuse to help.

Never come here. It reeks of malpractice. This place is awful. It's over run, they won't let you go back with the patient even when the patient requests you back there, wait times are insane, and it's dirty. The staff are rude and are not dressed appropriately for work as most of them are wearing tight clothes so tight I see their bras through their shirts. Additionally, the pain of actually getting an appointment is unbelievable. And when you get the appointment you gave to wait at least half an hour for the doctor to come into the room because they overbook themselves. More info from after my visit. The staff arent faxing my referral information in a timely manner. I have waited the 3-5 business days, I have called them back twice, and still nothing. Turns out there faxing number was wrong so now I have to redo the whole process over again.

I know Iβve seen some mixed reviews on here but for my personal experience I was very happy with this place. I was experiencing some wisdom teeth pain, and Iβve been putting it off for a little while which was because I was nervous and I have anxiety. What I liked about them at first was they were able to get me in quickly because I have a travel job coming up and I needed it dealt with before I left. They were able to get me in and get my tooth extracted promptly.. I also really enjoyed the fact that when I told them I was anxious they were very sweet towards me. It made me feel better about the whole situation. Definitely will come back again if need be.
